Program
Based on overwhelming requests from
parents and the understanding that individuals with autism greatly benefit from the consistency of year-round programming, in the summer of 2000 New Horizons developed our summer program.
We will strive to provide your child with fun-filled adventures and educational opportunities. New Horizons strongly believes that extensive community involvement strengthens our children's awareness, and creates increased positive interactions within the community.
Activities are paired with constant learning opportunities and follow a similar path to the child's documented needs within their IEP. Their summer curriculum is developed in an effort to provide functional programming in a non-educational, camp-like atmosphere.
